2023 Participants - Key dates pre-event

Here are some key dates on your journey towards the 2023 Cape Wrath Ultra® - and details on what help you can expect from us along the way:

August 2022

We will ask you for your first instalment payment of £425 - due by 1st September 2022

October 2022

We will ask you for your second instalment payment of £425 - due by 1st November 2022

December 2022

We will be in touch with some advice on how to look after your feet!

We will ask you for your third instalment payment of £425 - due by 9th January 2023

February 2023

We will be in touch to send you the following:

• Ecological briefing notes for the full course

• Tips for participating in a sustainable way

• Event map guidance, including info on following the route

Also, we will ask you for your final instalment payment of £425 - due by 1st March 2023

March 2023

We will be in touch with some good advice on clothing, equipment and tips from our medical team on how to look after yourself.

We will also need the (important) following info from you:

• Medical questionnaire – This must be completed in order to participate

• Dietary requirements – i.e. If you require gluten free meals or are you eligible for the 10kg additional baggage allowance for those with diagnosed food allergies (more info in our catering FAQ)

• Transportation requirements – i.e. If you need a place on the bus heading back to Fort William via Inverness after the event

• Parking requirements – i.e. If you would like to book parking in Fort William for the duration of the event

• Baggage transfer service for international participants – I.e. If you would like to book this service (more info in our Logistics ahead of the start FAQ)

• Tent allocation – i.e. Who you would like to share a tent with

April 2023

• Reminder of the event rules

• The confirmed event menu

• Guidance for:

  • checkpoints, cut-offs and course closure times

  • retirements

  • supporters

  • river crossings
