ROUTE HIGHLIGHTS

Day one:

A short ferry trip across Loch Linnhe takes you to the start from where you will enjoy a warmup day on good trails over to the iconic Glenfinnan viaduct.

Day two:

The real challenge begins today as you head into the beautiful remote landscape of Knoydart.

Day three:

Pass through Kintail and visit the Falls of Glomach – the most voluminous waterfalls in the Highlands.

Day four:

Experience high rocky passes and lofty mountains as you pass through iconic Torridon.

Day five:

Enjoy great isolated mountain glens in the Fisherfields.

Day six:

A long day on very remote and rough high ground will take you into beautiful Assynt.

Day seven:

This day offers a great contrast of moor, mountain, and deep inaccessible sea lochs.

Day eight:

The glorious beach of Sandwood Bay is the last stop before a special finish line at the Cape Wrath lighthouse!
